Stephanie Morgan achieves International Airport Professional designation
Stephanie Morgan, executive director of The Ohio State University Air Transportation & Aerospace Campus, recently achieved the distinguished designation of International Airport Professional (IAP), indicating her completion of a comprehensive airport business and leadership curriculum in the Global ACI-ICAO Airport Management Professional Accreditation Programme.
The highly interactive and cross-cultural program aims to increase airport performance, encourage adherence to standards and best practices, recognize professional excellence, and optimize airport executives’ knowledge sharing globally. The program has joint oversight by the aviation field’s two global administrative bodies, Airports Council International and the United Nations Specialized Agency: International Civil Aviation Organization.
With her new designation, Morgan joins a community of over 1,000 aviation professionals from 115 countries. This will open a pathway for her to network with peers internationally and participate in the IAP Community of Practice.
Her other professional achievements include Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives. A private, instrument-rated pilot, Morgan attended the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and earned a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical administration from St. Louis University. She holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
