2023 Don Scott Trot: 5K on the Runway

The Don Scott Trot: 5K on the Runway is a signature event at The Ohio State University Airport. Participants enjoy the annual opportunity to be on grounds typically reserved for aircraft. This special event fosters awareness, unity and community celebration of the airport. In 2023 the 5K and kids fun race will be held August 26 at 7:45 a.m. Free parking will be on site at the airport. This year’s event specially honors the 80^th year since our name was updated to commemorate Ohio State student, aviator and service member, Don Scott.

Beneficiary

Ohio State’s Flight Education program is the 2023 race beneficiary. Proceeds will provide scholarship support for students training to receive their pilot certificates, from the introductory to advanced levels.
