Taxi to Takeoff!! Aviation Academy Open House

Central Ohio high school students are invited to The Ohio State University Airport to learn about the Taxi to Takeoff!! Aviation Academy program through an in-person, open-house style event.

Students and their parents/guardians/supports will have the opportunity to meet program administrators and learn more about the application process, requirements and course content. Teaching and administrative staff from local school districts will be in attendance. The event will also include an informational session and opportunities for self-guided tours of the airport terminal.

• 5 - 5:30 p.m.: Arrival, sign-in and self-guided tours
• 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.: Informational session
• 6:30 - 7 p.m.: Self-guided tour opportunities and departure

The two-year Taxi to Takeoff!! Aviation Academy program introduces high school students to the fundamentals of the aviation industry. Priority enrollment is given to students in Columbus City Schools, Dublin Schools, Hilliard City Schools and Worthington Schools. Students from other districts may participate as space allows, on a first-come first-serve basis. Learn more by clicking here.
