Army Parachute Drop

Ohio State helps U.S. Army Reserve with parachute training
Sunday, September 17, 2017, 12:00 pm

U.S. Army Reserve paratroopers will practice drops on Don Scott Field on Sunday, September 17 at The Ohio State University Airport on West Case Road in Columbus.

In an effort to afford Army specialists training opportunities closer to home, the U.S. Army Reserves and Ohio State entered into a partnership in 2013 to allow the Columbus-based 412th Civil Affairs Battalion to conduct airborne training operations at the airport.

Because of a major airport construction project at the airport, opportunities for spectactors to view the paratroopers landing will be limited.
