Youth Aviation Adventure (YAA),a fast paced single day event for kids ages 12 to 18, will be held at the airport on May 20, 2017.  Participants will visit 10 different stations to learn about different facets of aviation.

The curriculum is based on the requirements for earning the Boy Scout Aviation Merit Badge, but participants do not have to be in a scouting program. The kids (and some interested adults) spend about twenty minutes at each of the nine stations where they participate in discussions about: In-The-Know aviation quiz game, airplane preflight checks, airport surface operations, airport firefighting operations, police use of helicopters, aerodynamics, the life of a professional pilot (careers), aircraft engines, and instrument panels. Most

YAA group
stations are run by two pilots/discussion leaders.
